About The Author

Jackie graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in Mathematical Economics and from N.Y.U. Stern’s School of Business with a M.B.A. in Marketing. She worked primarily in Planning and Analysis for major retail and clothing manufacturers such as The Gap, Mervyn’s and Levi Strauss & Co. She wrote plenty, but it was mainly reports and recommendations.

After having children, Jackie loved perusing bookstores and libraries to find books to share with them-- books she herself remembered reading as a child. Her belief in the importance of developing a love for books and reading, as well as an opportunity to work with children directly in promoting this concept, gave her the motivation to try her hand in writing for children. It was at a Children’s Writing Conference at Book Passage, that she realized her dream could be a reality

In 2008, Jackie founded Three Puppies Press™, a small publishing company committed to providing quality children’s books. Jackie's writing is inspired by the colorful antics of her children, and is dedicated to them.
